Cool Clean Technologies will be presenting the new phenomenon of machine cooling using CO2 or in essence “dry machining” for drilling of stackup composite at the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE) in Long Beach, CA, on Monday, May 6th at 4:40pm.One key problem manufacturers in the aerospace and automotive industry have when drilling stackups and Titanium (Ti), is the ability to efficiently drill holes through the layers to install fasteners and other components. Dan Schiller will discuss that using CO2 through tool “dry cooling”; it is possible to protect both layers, overall showing significant benefits over traditional cooling or lubrication.
Speaker BIO: Mr. Dan Schiller is the Chief Operating Officer at Cool Clean Technologies, LLC. He holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota.
Make sure to see our exhibit at the show from May 7-9th at the Long Beach Convention Center. We are in Booth N46 and will be doing live demonstrations including automated precision cleaning and cooling with live CO2.
