Founded in 2001 by Jon Wikstrom, whose military and civilian career is greatly involved in the development and of many CO2 based applications for machining and precision cleaning applications. As the world leader in the design and manufacturing of CO2 technology systems, Cool Clean uses CO2 in all phases of cleaning and surface preparation of precision surfaces, machine tool cooling and selective extraction. Our processes have three important attributes: 1) They are dry 2) They generate zero byproducts; and 3) All of our applications are eco-friendly and use environmentally safe products. The Cool Clean team has developed and marketed multiple CO2 cooling and cleaning technologies, and have numerous systems placed throughout the United States, Asia and Europe. Today, Cool Clean’s CO2 technology is used in the medical, aerospace, defense, semi-conductor industries and in every type of manufacturing and machining in-between.
