In this low-pressurized state (relative to supercritical), we utilize other adjuncts to effectively remove fatty acids and lipids from various biofuel feedstocks such as Algae, Camelina, and Pennycress for fuel use.
Cool Clean’s biofuel extraction processes use no external heat generation and therefore consumes significantly less energy, are low in cost, less variability (more consistency), and can be optimized to remove very high percentages of available fatty acids and lipids.
Our biofuel extraction systems have been vetted by the Department of Energy (DOE), and have been modeled to provide the necessary economics on a volumetric basis, while being completely environmentally friendly.
